Customer Information, Order Input, Setting Rates, Envelopes, Invoicing, Memo’s. Not to
mention where your materials are, at what station and with what employee. There are
a lot of components to jewelry manufacturing and you have to keep an eye on all
of them to ensure honesty and accuracy.
CUSTOMERS
With WIP, when creating a new customer you can enter information you can actually use.

Nickname. To keep your Customer information private

Customer stamp. Enter your Customer stamp information and forget about it

Contacts. How many contact person for each bussiness client you have? WIP manages them for you

Setting rates. With WIP you can manage as many "Setting types" for each Customer as you need
STYLES
WIP has the most complete Style Catalogue you will ever need, for each style you can enter information for: Parts, Stones, Processes / Labor unit cost, Pricing, Weights / Pictures, Setup

Parts. Enter all castings, finding and ANY other kind of components, store a picture for each

Stones. Store information you can actually use like Setting cost, Customer setting price; WIP can manage Wax-set and Hand-set stones

Processes. Enter all the steps the style goes through; you can enter a "Piece cost" if you have any Employees or Subcontractors that get paid by Piece

Pricing. Be able to price styles in Gold, Platinum & Silver; WIP differentiates Labor & Material prices

Weights / Pictures. Store the weight of the style for each different material in pennyweights & grams; you can also store a picture
ORDERS
WIP automates order entry and ensures accuracy. WIP creates your own Order No. and calculates the Parts & Stones required. WIP will even copy the Style's processes to the Order.
If the style is new, you can create it right from the Order entry. You can instruct your factory from hereby selecting “Finish.” You can even enter “Special Instructions” and a “Rush Message” to let your employees know the priority of the order.
ENVELOPES
All you need to do is enter the quantity of Envelopes you want to create and the "Starting Station". WIP will show you a summary of the Order and will create the quantity of Envelopes you specified. While creating Envelopes you can delegate work and manage your Employees by assigning an "Employee responsible to follow up order".

WIP will print all the information for your Order. At a glance you will see:

WORK IN PROGRESS
WIP is the 1st truly “Real time” application ever developed. With WIP you can keep track of the
order status in “Real time”. WIP keeps track of where your materials are, at what station and with what employee or contractor. The whole system is automated, giving you easy access and control.
When you’re ready to give the “job bag” to an Employee or Contractor you can start the “Work In
Progress” (also know as Envelope Transaction) by simple scanning (with a barcode scanner) or
typing the Envelope No. You can then select a “Station” and all “Employees” assigned to that
Station will show. You just click on the Employee name and “Process Transaction.” WIP will even
keep track of “Split transactions” so you can split the same Job Bag between as many people
as you need.
MEMOS
Do you need to sent work out? How long does it take you to prepare a Memorandum? It's not
an easy task, is it?
WIP will create Memos for you in no time. Just select the which Employees or Subcontractors
are taking work out, WIP will do the rest; WIP keeps track of "In progress" and "Finished" memos
automatically.
BILLS
WIP can keep an automated Bill for Employees/Contractors/Subcontractors. With the click of a
buton you decide when to "Start new Bill" for each employee, WIP ensures you don't overpay for
a job or pay for the same job more than once.
Do you need to charge for a diamond your Contractor broke but you want to do so in several
installments? You can enter "On Hold" bills and apply them whenever you want.
EMPLOYEES
You can assign the Employee (Contractor or Subcontractor) to a Station, but are not limited
to one. For example, if Joel is a Polisher and also a Jeweler, you can assign Joel to both
Polishers and Jewelers stations, you can even enter a Employee Nickname for each station.
REAL TIME INVOICING
WIP's invoicing function is truly amazing! Instead of waiting for the entire job to be done
before you charge the order, you can create a "Real time invoice" to invoice the part of the
Order that is finished, maximizing your cash flow.
